Project Description
The Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor is a Design/Build project consisting of an 8.5 mile light rail line, 5.5 miles of at-grade track, 3,600 feet of cast-in-place bridge structures, 4,600 feet of U-wall, 4,700 feet of cut-and-cover trench, and approx. 6,000 linear feet of tunnels. The project includes construction of 8 train stations, three of which are underground subway stations, four at grade and one elevated. The project features public art, and a signature parabolic bridge over the I-405 Freeway, the busiest and most congested freeway in the United States.
FIRM ROLE
DE is providing the project Claims Manager, and track/civil inspection oversight, as a sub-consultant. DE is providing the Lead Estimator and a Cost Estimator, as well as a Claims Specialist under multiple concurrent contracts.
